The 137-Hour Marathon to 100% Completion
I’ll never forget the moment when I finally got that sweet, sweet satisfaction of completing Satisfactory. For real, though – it took me a whopping 137 hours to get there. Yes, you read that right; almost five days straight of non-stop gaming.
At first, I thought it was just going to be one of those casual experiences where I’d casually dip in and out, taking breaks whenever the mood struck me. Boy, was I wrong! The game had other plans, and before I knew it, time had flown by like a factory robot on steroids.
As the hours ticked away, my social life crumbled, my sleep schedule got tossed out the window, and all that mattered was getting closer to 100%. Don’t get me wrong – it wasn’t always easy. There were countless times when I wanted to rage-quit due to some ridiculously frustrating mechanic or another. But something about this game kept drawing me back in.
It’s funny how our perception of time changes when we’re fully immersed in a world. Hours felt like minutes, and before I knew it, days had passed. The fatigue was real, but my determination to 100% the game never wavered.
The moment I finally reached that milestone was… surreal. It was as if I’d just gone through some sort of digital rebirth – a feeling akin to having shed an old skin and emerged anew. That rush of accomplishment was like nothing else; it’s hard to put into words, but let me tell you, it felt AMAZING.
Satisfactory is more than just a game – it’s an experience that can’t be replicated anywhere else. The satisfaction I got from finally completing it is something I’ll carry with me for a long time.
