Abiotic Factor Admin Access & Moderation

Abiotic Factor uses an Admin.ini file for moderator access and can also use an admin password when launching the dedicated server.

Option 1: Add Admins via Admin.ini (Recommended)

Create or edit:

AbioticFactor/Saved/SaveGames/Server/Admin.ini

Then add SteamIDs under the correct section:

[Moderators]
76561198000000000=
76561198000000001=

1. Stop the server.
2. Edit Admin.ini.
3. Start the server again.

Option 2: Admin Password

When starting the server, set an admin password (or add it in your host panel if provided). Players can then log in as admin in-game.

Moderation Tips

• Keep the admin list small to avoid abuse.
• Use moderation tools sparingly; the game is progression-driven.
• Restart after updating admin permissions.
