Server Maintenance: Wipes & Updates

Keeping your server healthy requires occasional maintenance.

Updating the Server

HumanitZ is in Early Access, so updates are frequent. To update:

1. Stop the server.
2. Run your SteamCMD update command:

Wiping the World (Reset)

To restart the server with a fresh map:

1. Navigate to: /HumanitZServer/TSS/Saved/SaveGames/
2. Backup the folder if you want to keep the old data.
3. Delete the contents of the SaveGames folder.
4. Restart the server. It will generate a new world.

Backups

Regularly copy the /Saved/ directory to a safe location. This contains both your world data (SaveGames) and your configuration (Config).
