Nightingale Save Management Guide

Protect your Nightingale realm with regular backups. This guide shows save locations and backup procedures.

Manual Backup

1. Stop Server: Shutdown cleanly
2. Navigate to Saves: Go to SaveGames folder
3. Copy Files: Copy all save data to backup location
4. Label Backup: Include date: Nightingale_Backup_2025-01-16.zip
5. Restart Server: Start after backup completes

Automated Backup Script (Linux)

Restoring Saves

1. Stop Server: Ensure server is offline
2. Backup Current: Save existing SaveGames to temp
3. Extract Backup: Unzip desired backup
4. Replace Saves: Copy backup files to SaveGames directory
5. Start Server: Launch with restored saves

Backup Schedule

Recommended frequency:

• Active Realms: Every 4-6 hours
• Less Active: Every 12-24 hours
• Before Updates: Always backup before patching
