Joining a Vein Server

Instructions for connecting to your Vein dedicated server via the in-game browser or direct IP.

Method 1: Server Browser

1. Launch Vein.
2. Select Join Game.
3. Click on the Dedicated Servers filter tab.
4. Use the search bar to find your server.

If your server doesn't appear, ensure the Query Port (27015) is open.

Method 2: Direct IP Connect

Use this method if the server browser is slow or buggy.

1. In the main menu, look for the Direct Connect input field (often at the bottom or via console).
2. Enter your server's IP and Game Port (e.g., 192.168.1.5:7777).
3. Click Join.

Required Ports

For players to connect, you must forward:

• 7777 UDP: Game Traffic
• 27015 UDP: Steam Browser Query
