Crosswind (Windrose) Server Configuration Status
Crosswind has been rebranded to Windrose. As of January 2026, the game is still listed as coming soon on Steam, and no public dedicated server tool or configuration documentation has been released.
Current Status (2026)
- New name: Windrose (formerly Crosswind)
- Release: Coming soon on Steam
- Dedicated servers: No official server binaries or config files published
- Server browser: No public dedicated server browser details available yet
What This Means for Server Configuration
- There is no official
ServerSettings.ini, RCON, or port list published yet. - Existing guides that reference specific config files are placeholders until official documentation is released.
- If you are playing a test build, treat any settings as temporary and subject to change.
How Players Connect Right Now
Windrose is currently marketed as an online co-op experience. Until dedicated servers ship, connections are handled through in-game matchmaking or Steam friends/invites rather than a standalone server browser.
