Hytale Version Mismatch: Fix Client/Server Differences
Version mismatches happen when the server updates but players are on an older build (or the reverse). Align both sides to restore connections.
Step-by-Step Fix
- Update the server. Use the downloader CLI or your host's update tool. See Downloader CLI Guide.
- Restart after updates. Hytale does not hot-reload server binaries.
- Update clients. Ask players to check their launcher for updates.
- Avoid mixed branches. Keep everyone on the same Early Access build.
