Palworld: Making Your Server Public
By default, dedicated servers may not appear in the in-game "Community Servers" browser. To grow your community, you must enable public listing, but be aware of the limitations of the current server browser.
1. The Setting
You must toggle EpicApp=PalServer (on some versions) or ensure your startup arguments include the "Community" flag.
2. The 200 Limit
The Palworld browser currently only displays the first 200 servers pinged. If your server isn't in that batch, it won't show up, even if configured correctly.
3. Direct Connect
Because the browser is unreliable, **Direct IP Connection** is the only guaranteed way for players to join.
Configuration Steps
- Login to your **Supercraft Panel**.
- Go to **Startup Settings** (or Basic Settings).
- Find the option **"Community Server"** or **"Show in Browser"**.
- Set it to True / Enabled.
- Restart the Server.
Why Can't I Find My Server?
This is the #1 question for Palworld admins. The game's master server list is massive (thousands of servers), but the client UI stops loading after fetching 200 results.
Workarounds:
- Search Exact Name: Sometimes typing the exact unique name of your server in the search bar helps, but it searches the loaded list, not the master database.
- Recent Servers: Once a player joins via IP once, your server will forever appear in their "Recent Servers" tab, which works perfectly.
How to Connect via IP
Since the browser is flaky, give your community this instruction:
- Click **Join Multiplayer Game**.
- Click **Community Servers**.
- At the bottom of the screen, there is a box that says
127.0.0.1:8211. - Delete that text and paste your Server IP (e.g.,
192.168.1.50:8211). - Click **Connect**.
Pro Tip: Use a custom subdomain (like play.myguild.com) instead of a raw IP. This looks more professional and is easier for players to type into the connection box.
