The Kibble Rework (Homogenized Kibble)
In older versions of Ark, each dinosaur had a specific preferred kibble made from a specific egg (e.g., Rexes wanting Pulmonoscorpius egg kibble). The system has been fully streamlined into 6 standardized tiers based on the size of the egg used.

Pro Tip: The Extraordinary Shortcut
Dinosaurs will accept a kibble of a higher tier than what they require without any penalty. As a result, many endgame tribes skip lower tiers entirely by taming low-level Yutyrannus females just for their eggs, allowing them to mass-produce Extraordinary Kibble, which can perfectly tame any kibble-taming creature in the game.
