Palworld: Server Admin & Moderation Guide
Unlike some survival games that use complex UID lists, Palworld uses a **Password-Based Authentication** system for administrators. Once authenticated, you gain access to a suite of console commands to manage your players, broadcast announcements, and troubleshoot world issues.
1. Authentication
There is no "Admin List" file. Anyone who knows the AdminPassword can grant themselves powers in-game for that session.
2. Session-Based Powers
Admin status is not permanent. You must run the /AdminPassword command every time you log into the server to re-enable your commands.
3. Mod Compatibility
If you use an RCON tool or a web-based panel, you can issue these commands without being physically present on the server.
How to Grant Yourself Admin Powers
- Log in to your Supercraft Panel and Stop the server.
- Open the Basic Server Settings (or edit
PalWorldSettings.ini). - Locate the field
AdminPasswordand set a strong, unique password.- Note: This must be different from your regular server join password!
- Save and Restart the server.
- In-game, press Enter to open the chat and type:
/AdminPassword YourSecretPassword - You will receive a notification: "You are now an admin."
Essential Admin Commands
| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
/Info | Shows server version and current player count. |
/Broadcast {Message} | Sends a global message to all players (useful for restart warnings). |
/KickPlayer {SteamID} | Forcefully removes a player from the current session. |
/BanPlayer {SteamID} | Permanently blocks a player from reconnecting. |
/TeleportToPlayer {SteamID} | Instantly teleports you to the player's current location. |
/ShowPlayers | Lists all current players and their 17-digit SteamIDs. |
Pro Tip: To find a player's SteamID for the ban command, use the /ShowPlayers command first. It will display a list of all active users and their IDs. You can then copy the ID directly from the console log.
Govern your world with absolute authority. Host your Palworld server with Supercraft and enjoy a dedicated web console that makes broadcasting and banning faster than ever.
