How to Update Your Server
When the game updates on Steam, clients cannot join an outdated server. Here is how to update.
Using SteamCMD
Run the following command (replace paths as needed):
steamcmd +force_install_dir ./abiotic_server +login anonymous +app_update 2428520 validate +quit
Note: App ID 2428520 is the Abiotic Factor Dedicated Server ID. Always double check on SteamDB.
Automatic Updates
We recommend creating a script (update.bat or update.sh) with the above command and running it before every server start.
