How V Rising blood works
Every NPC and creature in V Rising has a blood type and quality %. As a vampire, you drink from them for buffs. Quality matters: 30% gives the entry-tier bonus, 60% the mid, 80% the high tier, and 100% (rare elite mob drop) gives the maxed bonus. Picking the right blood for your build is one of the biggest power decisions in the game.
Blood-type cheat sheet
- Creature — movement speed + sun resistance. The “travel blood” most players default to between fights.
- Rogue — crit chance + crit damage + double-jump at 100%. Best for crossbow and stealth builds.
- Warrior — physical power + parry damage + +1 weapon skill. Best for sword/spear/mace melee.
- Scholar — spell power + cooldown reduction + extra spell slot at 100%. Magic builds.
- Worker — resource yield + minion damage + extra minion at 100%. Farming + summoner builds.
- Brute — max HP + lifesteal + damage vs above-50% targets. Tank PvP builds.

FAQ
- How do I find 100% quality blood?
- 100% is rare elite mob spawn. They glow with a distinct aura in-game. Pre-V-Blood elites can drop 90%+; bosses give 100%.
- Does drinking from a friend transfer their blood quality?
- Drinking from another vampire transfers their quality, not their type. Your blood type persists; quality fluctuates with hunger and drinking choices.
- Are these bonuses for current 1.0+ patch?
- Yes — verified against the 1.0+ patch notes. Earlier-access blood values varied; the numbers above are current.
