Palworld 1.0 Release Date: July 10, 2026 — Everything Confirmed

Palworld 1.0 — July 10, 2026: Everything Pocketpair Has Confirmed

Last verified: June 12, 2026. Date announced at Summer Game Fest 2026; full patch notes remain "Top Secret" until launch.

It is official: Palworld 1.0 launches July 10, 2026, announced at Summer Game Fest with a cinematic trailer. Two and a half years after the January 2024 Early Access explosion, the exit is dated — and Pocketpair is calling 1.0 its biggest update yet while keeping the full patch notes deliberately under wraps. This page tracks what is actually confirmed, separated cleanly from what is not.

Confirmed for 1.0

  • The World Tree opens. Visible and inaccessible since launch, the World Tree region finally becomes explorable — the trailer centers on it.
  • A second major island. Together with the World Tree area, the new regions roughly double the playable landmass compared to the 2024 map.
  • New Pals and a new threat. The trailer shows new creatures and an "ominous new threat" Pocketpair has not named.
  • Genetic Recombination. A confirmed new breeding system — relevant to every breeding-focused server (and to our breeding calculator, which will be updated when the mechanics publish).
  • Server Clustering. The headline for server admins: 1.0 ships a cluster system for dedicated servers. Mechanics are unpublished; the concept — linked servers in the ARK mold — is confirmed.

Not confirmed (and worth saying out loud)

Pocketpair has labeled the full 1.0 patch notes "Top Secret," which has predictably filled the gap with speculation. Community wishlists — creative modes, ranked PvP ladders, ultra-tier raid formats — are not announced. We will update this page as Pocketpair reveals more between now and July 10; until then, treat anything not in the list above as a rumor.

The June 25 / July 10 double event

The Tides of Terraria crossover patch lands June 25, fifteen days before 1.0. For server admins that means two update cycles in three weeks: backup, update, and a mod-compatibility window after each. If you run mods, expect the 1.0 break to be the bigger one — an Early Access exit typically moves more internals than a content patch.

What server admins should do now

  • Decide wipe-or-keep before launch week. The full decision framework is in our 1.0: wipe or keep your world? guide — written so you can make the call calmly in June instead of frantically on July 10.
  • Prepare for the population spike. 1.0 launches are the biggest recruiting window a server ever gets; a listed, stable server on July 10 fills itself. Capacity planning: hardware requirements.
  • Pre-1.0 housekeeping: verify backups actually restore, note your current version for rollback awareness, and read the 1.0 server update guide for the transition mechanics.
