How to Connect to a Conan Exiles Server

Your Conan Exiles server has its own address (an IP and game port) shown in your Supercraft panel. The Conan in-game server browser searches by name, but the fastest and most reliable way to join your server is by adding it to Steam favorites or using Direct Connect. Both paths are below.

Two ports to know about

Conan Exiles uses two separate ports, and most “can’t find my server” cases come from typing the wrong one:

• Game port — the port shown in your Supercraft panel (for example, 13620). This is what players use to actually join the server.
• Steam query port — always the game port + 2 (for the example above, 13622). Steam uses this when you add the server to favorites. Steam will not find your server if you give it the game port.

Method 1: Direct Connect (recommended)

1. Launch Conan Exiles and choose Play Online Private.
2. Click Direct Connect at the bottom of the server browser.
3. Enter the IP and game port from your Supercraft panel (for example, as2.supercraft.host:13620).
4. If the server has a password, type it into the password field below.
5. Click Connect. Your character will load into the world.

Method 2: Add to Steam Favorites

1. Open Steam › View › Game Servers.
2. Switch to the Favorites tab.
3. Click the + (Add Server) button in the bottom-right.
4. Enter the IP and query port (game port + 2). If your panel shows as2.supercraft.host:13620, type as2.supercraft.host:13622. Click OK.
5. Launch Conan Exiles, choose Play Online Private, then filter on Favorites. Your server appears there as soon as it finishes booting (typically 3-5 minutes after a start).

Troubleshooting

• “Server not found” right after purchase: A fresh Conan Exiles server takes 3-5 minutes to finish booting and register with the Steam backend. Wait a few minutes and retry.
• Server is in Steam favorites but won’t show up: You likely used the game port instead of the +2 query port. Remove the favorite and re-add it with the correct port.
• Wrong password / kicked back to the menu: Conan distinguishes between the server password, the admin password, and the RCON password. Use the one shown as Server password in your panel for joining.
• Friends can’t see the server in the browser: Have them add it to their Steam favorites the same way (Method 2). The in-game public browser is slow to refresh; favorites bypass it.
• Server is up in Steam but won’t connect: Check the Logs tab in your panel for errors. If the server is restart-looping, the AI Server Doctor under the panel’s diagnostics will name the cause (usually a mod that’s incompatible with the current Conan build).
