WARDOGS 100-Player Server Planning
WARDOGS is designed around large-scale, three-team battles of up to 100 players. That changes the hosting question from “can five friends join?” to “does the server remain stable when the battlefield is full?”
Load-test the real moments
| Moment | Measure |
|---|---|
| Lobby and round start | Join burst, authentication and server startup. |
| Three-team contact | CPU, tick stability and network consistency. |
| Vehicles and destruction | Simulation load and bandwidth under action. |
| Long session | Memory growth, logs, storage and restart recovery. |
Community operations matter too
- Assign staff coverage for the expected play window.
- Define rules for voice, griefing, exploits and intentional team disruption.
- Have a way to announce maintenance without surprising a full match.
The 100-player number is the game’s upper design target, not an instruction to open every new server at 100. Start with a measured capacity and grow the community safely.
See the requirements boundary and reserve a community server at WARDOGS hosting.
