Minecraft Bedrock Server Hosting

Minecraft Bedrock Edition Server Hosting - Cross-play, Add-ons & Realms-style Worlds

Launch a Minecraft Bedrock Edition Dedicated Server (BDS) in under two minutes. Get NVMe storage, automatic backups, world uploads, behavior and resource pack support, and file access across four regions. Windows and mobile clients can add the server address directly; Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch custom-server access depends on the console client and may require an unofficial bridge.

Minecraft Bedrock is separate from Minecraft Java on Supercraft. If you want Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge, use Minecraft Java hosting.

Bedrock on Windows, mobile, and consoles

BDS is the native dedicated-server software for Bedrock Edition. Windows, iOS, and Android clients can add a custom address and UDP port directly. Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch commonly expose Realms and featured servers without a reliable native custom-IP field, so do not buy third-party BDS on the assumption that every console can add it directly. Java clients do not join BDS; for a mixed Java/Bedrock group, use a Java server with GeyserMC.

Add-ons and world uploads

Upload your existing world, then enable behavior and resource packs (including .mcaddon and .mcpack). Manage files via the web file manager or FTP and restart to apply changes. Full add-on workflow walkthrough: Bedrock add-on installation guide.

Backups before big updates

Take on-demand backups before new add-ons or game updates. Restore fast if something breaks and keep your world safe.

Connect from Windows, mobile, Xbox, PS5, and Switch

Default Bedrock networking uses 19132/UDP for IPv4 and 19133/UDP for IPv6. Test the server first from Windows or mobile, where custom-address entry is supported. Console editions have a separate access limitation: some communities use LAN, friend-bot, or DNS discovery bridges, but those methods are unofficial and can break after platform updates. See the port 19132 and console-access guide.

  • Windows 10/11 Bedrock: use Servers → Add Server and enter the address and UDP port.
  • iOS / Android: use Servers → Add Server; these are also useful clients for testing external reachability.
  • Xbox / PlayStation / Switch: Realms and featured servers are the native path. Evaluate any custom-server bridge on the exact console and current game version before purchasing hosting.

Bedrock vs Java Edition - which one do you actually need?

Short version: Bedrock for Windows/mobile groups and native console ecosystems; Java for PC groups that want Paper plugins or Fabric/Forge/NeoForge modpacks. Java and Bedrock do not cross-play directly, and a third-party BDS address is not a guaranteed native console path.

  • Pick Bedrock when your group is on Windows/mobile Bedrock or you want BDS behavior and resource packs. For a console-first group, compare Realms before a third-party address.
  • Pick Java when: every player is on PC; you want Paper/Purpur plugins, Forge/Fabric/NeoForge modpacks, or a custom server type. See Minecraft Java hosting.
  • Mixed Java/Bedrock group? Run a Java server with GeyserMC + Floodgate. Windows/mobile Bedrock clients can use its Bedrock listener; console custom-address limitations still apply.

Minecraft Bedrock Server Hosting FAQ

How much does a Minecraft Bedrock server cost?
Managed Minecraft Bedrock hosting starts at $5.99/mo. Bedrock add-ons, cross-play across PC, console, and mobile are included. Pricing covers automated backups and instant restart.
How much RAM does a Minecraft Bedrock server need?
Bedrock is lighter than Java: 2 GB is enough for 8 friends. Add-on-heavy servers (skyblock, lifesteal, etc) want 4 GB. Bedrock is generally easier on hardware than Java Edition.
Does Bedrock support mods or just add-ons?
Bedrock supports official add-ons (resource packs, behavior packs) and a more limited custom-script system than Java. Most "mods" you see on Bedrock are add-ons. Our panel auto-installs add-ons from common community sources.

FAQ

Yes. Export your Bedrock world folder, zip it, and upload it via the control panel or FTP. Then select it as the active world and restart the server.

Yes. Bedrock behavior and resource packs are supported (including .mcaddon and .mcpack). Upload the packs, enable them for your world, and restart to apply.

We have locations in US West (Oregon), US North-East (Toronto), Europe West (Paris), and Australia (Sydney).

Yes. You can request a full refund within the first 2 days on any plan.

Plan S supports up to 5 players, Plan M supports up to 10 players, and Plan L supports up to 30 players. You can upgrade later without wiping your world.

Yes. In My Account → Subscriptions, you can upgrade to a higher tier of the same game with the same billing cadence (for example, monthly to monthly). Downgrades are not available right now. During an upgrade, your deployment is updated in place (quota update + restart), not wiped and recreated.

Use the separate Minecraft Java hosting page. Bedrock focuses on BDS and add-ons, while Java covers Vanilla, Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge.

Supercraft Bedrock plans start at $5.99/mo for up to 5 players (Plan S), $9.99/mo for up to 10 players (Plan M), and $16/mo for up to 30 players (Plan L). 3, 6, and 12-month prepay options knock 10-22% off the monthly rate. Total cost is driven by player count, world size, backups, and add-on complexity.

Windows, iOS, Android, and other Bedrock clients with custom-server entry can connect to BDS using its address and UDP port. Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch commonly do not expose a reliable native custom-IP field; Realms/featured servers are native, while third-party bridge methods are unofficial. Java Edition clients cannot join BDS directly.

Minecraft Realms is Mojang's first-party subscription: $3.99/month for the owner plus two players, or $7.99/month for Realms Plus with the owner plus ten and Marketplace Pass. A Supercraft Bedrock server is a BDS instance with file and server.properties access, user-managed compatible packs, world uploads, and larger plan options. Realms is usually the simpler native choice for console-first groups.

Aternos is a valid free option for Java and Bedrock, including add-ons and Google Drive backups. Its documented tradeoffs are that it is not 24/7, stops after the last player leaves, may queue when starting, and has a 4 GB maximum server size. Supercraft is an always-on paid option with direct file access and no start queue. Choose based on uptime, world size, and administration needs.

Yes — via a GeyserMC + Floodgate setup. Geyser is a proxy that translates Bedrock protocol into Java, so Bedrock clients (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Windows, iOS, Android) can join a Java server alongside Java-Edition players. Floodgate lets the Bedrock players join without a paid Java Mojang/Microsoft account. The setup runs on a Java server (Paper/Purpur is recommended), not on the Bedrock-native BDS instance. See our GeyserMC setup guide for the full walkthrough. If everyone in your group is on Bedrock platforms only, pure BDS hosting (this page) is simpler.

Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch commonly do not provide a reliable native field for an arbitrary third-party server address. This is a console-client limitation, not usually a firewall or family-settings fault. Realms and featured servers are the native route; LAN, friend-bot, and DNS discovery bridges are unofficial and can change. Test from Windows/mobile first and see the port 19132 and console-access guide.
