WARDOGS $100K Clip Contest: Prize, Deadline and How to Enter
The short answer: the announcement Bulkhead teased at the FPS Games Show turned out to be a clip contest. One clip wins $100,000 in real cash, and 99 runners-up each get $100,000 in in-game cash, the currency you spend on loadouts. Post a clip of up to two minutes with the hashtag #WARDOGS100k, tag the official account, then submit the link through the form on the contest site. Submissions close at 23:59 BST on October 8, 2026, and winners are announced on October 15 or shortly after.

How to enter, in order
- Get the footage. Any clip from the game counts, which in practice means closed beta access through a pre-order, or the Early Access release on September 10.
- Cut it to two minutes or less. That is the stated maximum.
- Post it publicly on X, YouTube, TikTok or Instagram with #WARDOGS100k and @WARDOGS tagged.
- Submit the link through the form on the official site. A post that is never submitted is not an entry, and the form is how they reach a winner.
- Beat October 8, 23:59 BST. That leaves roughly four weeks of Early Access to capture something worth entering.
The categories
Bulkhead are not only looking for highlight reels. The named categories are Heroic Play, Pure Skill, Funny Moment, Epic Fail, Jackpot Moment and Absolute Cinema, and their own description asks for funny clips, skilful plays, heroic saves, epic fails and moments of absolute cinema. Two of those six reward things going badly wrong, which in a game about a hundred players, vehicles and collapsing buildings is not a small category.
When the contest was announced, the qualities Bulkhead pointed to were teamwork, decision making, all-out warfare moments, creativity, and how much a clip could only have happened in WARDOGS. That last one is the useful filter: the game pays you for reviving, hauling teammates to the zone and holding ground, and your cash carries between matches, so a clip about a well-timed expensive purchase says more about this game than another headshot montage does.
Five practical notes
- Record from day one. Launch week produces the chaos the categories reward, and you cannot go back for a clip you did not capture. Set up a rolling capture buffer before September 10.
- Keep the audio. Proximity voice chat is in the build, and heroic saves and funny moments usually sound like something.
- Post early in the window. Views build over weeks, and launch-week interest in the game is the highest it will be.
- One idea per clip. Two minutes is short. A single decision that pays off beats a montage.
- Read the terms before you edit for a week. Country restrictions apply, and the official conditions are the only place they are set out.
Why Bulkhead apologised for their own announcement
They had promised something "no one will see coming", and plenty of players expected a platform reveal or new content. When it turned out to be a contest, the reaction was blunt enough that the official WARDOGS account posted a video the next day taking responsibility, saying they had overhyped it and, in their words, "dropped the ball on this one". Two things stayed true through all of it: the money is real, and the September 10 launch date and $39.99 price did not change. The release date and price page covers the rest.
Where a prize this size comes from
The FPS Games Show is Bulkhead's own event, created because the established industry showcases quote tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars for a minute of stage time, which their chief executive judged not worth it for a game like this one. Handing a promotional budget to players instead of to a stage slot is that same argument carried through, and for a game whose selling point is emergent hundred-player chaos, clips are the advertisement.
