Wurm Unlimited Server Ports and Browser Visibility

Wurm can start successfully while remaining visible only on the LAN tab. That almost always means the Internet-facing client or Steam query path is not reachable.

Documented port roles

Diagnosis

  1. Confirm the server’s actual externalport and queryport.
  2. Allow the client and Steam paths through the host firewall.
  3. Forward the same ports to the correct machine if self-hosting.
  4. Refresh the Internet tab and test direct connection.
RMI is not a player connection port. Opening it to the public Internet turns a visibility problem into an administration exposure.
